What's the purpose for teaming virtual gigabit adapters, which are using the host's wifi connection?

You may be able to configure failover-teaming though.

Can you confirm that both of the VM's virtual NICs are in a "Connected" state in the VM's configuration settings?

What are you hoping to achieve by having multiple virtual adapters and teaming them?
