I have has several instances where the collection status of several vcenter and vsan (no the same ones at the same time) have went into a starting state with a collection status of not receiving. to fix this i start and stop the collection.
This does not seem to be generating errors. Is there a way to send an alert when a collection state is not "Data Receiving" I could then maybe send this to vRO and start a workflow to API restart it.
I cant seem to find a metric or property for this.
