Microsoft Authenticator doesn't like Hub since last update (03/25/2020) - Android

Hi there!

We use Microsoft Authenticator for MFA and so the app is pushed on our Android smartphones (mainly Samsung Galaxy).

Since the last update of Authenticator (03/25/2020), when launching the app, we get the HUB pop-up "Impossible operation, you don't have the right to do this action. Contact your IT administrator..." - not sure of the message since mine is in french Smiley Wink.

It looks like Authenticator is trying to do something that HUB doesn't like... but what?

Do you know how to find what is doing this?

Did you encountered the same issue?

Best regards, take care.

I've been running into the same issue. It seems the Microsoft Authenticator app just added a feature to block taking screenshots while the app is open. My guess is a Restrictions type profile payload is blocking the app from having this control. I have a ticket open with support to hopefully find a solution.

Update: I believe i found the culprit for this issue. The restrictions payload setting "Allow adding/removing accounts" seems to cause this behavior, When enabled, it is fine, but if you disable this, the error occurs. I re-checked the setting to enable it, and now the errors have stopped!
