Data Protection and Replication in 6.7 was it not removed?

I thought:

"vSphere 6.5 is the last release to include vSphere Data Protection and future vSphere releases will no longer include this product"

But:

https://www.vmware.com/content/dam/digitalmarketing/vmware/en/pdf/products/vsphere/vmware-vsphere-vs...

Shows:

"2. vSphere 6.7 Essentials Kits and vSphere 6.7 Acceleration Kits

Advanced backup features (app-aware agents, replication, integration with Data Domain, etc.) are now available in vSphere Data Protection."

It looks like you can get the new license and still run vSphere 6.5 and still use the Data Protection. It looks like VMware now only give the hooks for other applications like Backup Exec or Veeam.
