Vmware 6.5 and 6.7 loses network connectivity randomly on all C1100

hello,

the network is being lost and the solution is to going to the console and enable and disable the nic card or rebooting

I tried updating firmware and bios to the latest version but it has no luck

there was no issue on vmware 6.0 before

I belive there was such an issue with 6.0 4 years ago that it was a bug from esxi that solved those days

Thank You

If you're referring to PowerEdge C1100 servers, these are **REALLY** old servers and do not even support those versions of ESXi.

however We do not have such issues on supermicro servers

if it is not supported it shouldn't be able to installed but it installs and when the network usage go above 200mbs it loses network connectivity

That's not always the case. Sometimes ESXi will install but basic functionality fails. That's why it's not supported.
