Workstation Player 15.5.2 mouse cursor stuck when workstation window minimized

I run my linux guests fullscreen.   I use the minimize on the command bar to return to my Windows host.  Using 15.5.2 the mouse cursor now immediately goes to the upper left hand of the Windows desktop when I minimize.   I have to use CTRL-ALT for it to release and be usable.

This happens every time I minimize now.

  • Add to Phrasebook
    • No word lists for English -> English...
    • Create a new word list...

Using Manjaro 19.02 using 11.0.1 open-vm-tools.  The same thing happens with other distros though...

Could u clarify more detail info about this issue?

  • Your Host and Guest version
  • You vmtools version
  • If possible, could u upload your vmware.log when issue occurred?

My host is Windows 10 x64 - fully updated as of March 26, 2020

Manjaro 19.02 using 11.0.1 open-vm-tools

Not sure about the log.  This happens every single time I am using the guest in fullscreen, minimize on the command bar to return to my Windows host.  The mouse cursor is locked in the upper left hand of the screen until I use CTRL-ALT to release it.

I do not have the test environment of Manjaro 19.02 to reproduce in-house. Actually I tried Ubuntu 18.0.4 and do not hit the mouse stuck issue.

So could u help upload the vmware.log? The log location can be found in the Help menu? Click Help->About workstation in Workstation UI.
