Hard Drive not visible in Fusion VMware

Hi,
I installed Windows 10 on an external hard drive, to use it with a virtual machine (VMware 11.5.2) on my Mac (OS 10.15.3). Everything is working well, but the hard drive where Windows is installed is not visible in Windows. I have the data (huge, that I want to analyze with Windows software) in that hard drive. How can I see it? Do I have to share or make the hard available following some instructions?

Do you mean you want run windows from that external hard drive, or just mount it in a guest?
