Window with Home Icon

Every time I work with my VM-Image it is added in a list in the left Window with Home Icon of my VM Workstation Player.

Anybody can explain which purpose it has.

Hi,

What version are you using?

What activities are you carrying out, can you post some pictures of what you see on the left?

From what you write it is normal that he does, it could be that he puts on the left, the last activity carried out (for convenience).

Hi

It is list on in the left Window under the Icon Home.

I assume that it is a snapshot record of a given VM-Image in an earlier state If I wish to roll back.

I just need a confirmation.

It's a list of opened VMs.

VMware Workstation Player does not have the snapshot feature, you need Workstation Professional for that.

When you say active, is it running. Because I only have one running.

But click on one of the earlier links does start a VM-Image that does not contains my current changes and back on the stage I started working with.

It's why I asked whether they were snapshots.

Hi,

I never said "active" in my reply ?

Don't know what you are doing, just pointing out that it is nothing more than a list of most recently opened VMs.

What I said was that VMware Player does not have snapshot features, see also:

So it isn't what you think it is.
