Mouse click not working in VMWare Fusion 11.5.2 running on Catalina

Hi everyone,

I've got VMWare Fusion 11.5.2 running on Catalina. My mouse click is not being recognised inside all VMs I run, the keyboard is recognised though. I've tried a number of combinations of adding/re-adding VMWare Fusion into the "accessibility" setting under System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility, but it hasn't worked. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling VMWare but that hasn't worked either.

I also run Parallels, and that is working ok, however I need to get VMWare working for the *.ova I have.

Appreciate any assistance!

Drew

Hi,

have you installed the vmware tools?

If you haven't installed them, proceed. Otherwise you have to remove them and reinstall them again.

And strange with the problem there is not 'on all vm.

On which operating systems does the problem occur?

Hi ARomeo,

Thanks for your response. I'm installing VMWare tools now, seems to be taking a while! The problem is occurring with all VMWare Fusion VM's, even ones which have worked previously. Very frustrating!

OS is Catalina.

Thanks,

Drew
