Is it possible to give some more information about this issue?

What kind of clones are you using? Are you using Instant clones or linked clones

Which step is taking long? Are we talking about minutes/hours?

We are using Linked CLones.

Cloning VM in Vcenter showing long time. The process failed after taking long time to clone.

Hi,

I just setup a new test environment with vSAN and Horizon on completely undersized hardware. All my VM's are working but rather slow, but when I try a normal clone operation in vCenter it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to complete. When I try the provision linked clones, it failes. I suspect because the clone takes too much time to complete. I was hoping to find a setting to increase the timeout for the composer to wait for the clone to complete, but didn't find anything yet...

Regards.

Regards, Michiel.

Unfortunately it didn't work. I've increased the timeout value to 180 minutes and restarted the composer service but it still fails provisioning after 1 hour. Still have to look for further details in the logs however...
