Public cloud migration planning analysis shows low $ amount for private cloud

I started using a trial of vRealize recently and have been trying to make sense of the Assess Cost dashboard that gives a total cost of ownership for my datacenter and the What-If Analysis page's "Migration Planning: Public Cloud" tool.

When I run that cloud migration planning scenario, I just chose all of my VMs to keep it consistent with what's already running in my data center, but the figure it generates for my private cloud is half that of the Assess Cost dashboard's total cost of ownership estimate for my data center.

What gives?

Did you define cost drivers for your private cloud under Administration --> Configuration --> Cost Settings?

Was I helpful? Give a kudo for appreciation!

Thanks for the reply, Rick. I did slightly adjust those cost settings and was able to see that reflected in the total cost of ownership for the whole environment, and that did also change the dollar estimate for the private cloud in the "what-if" public cloud migration analysis. But that figure is still less than half the dollar figure it's estimating for the monthly TCO of our infrastructure in the Assess Cost > Total Inventory and Costs dashboard.
