how NSX-T manager choose subnet for TEP if there are more than one subnet in an IP pool

I created one IP address pool and add 2 subnets to it. when I create a transport node profile , it just let me choose IP pools, not choose subnet, and when I use the transport node profile to prepare an ESXi , still never ask me to choose subnet. and Then the ESXi transport node choose an IP address from one subnet to be his TEP address.

My question is : is this subnet choosing random?   maybe the ESXi cluster I prepared need another subnet to be connected to the physical network, how can I choose the subnet manually?

What are you trying to accomplish here? If you need two different subnets for TEP just create two different pools and chose the one you need on each host/cluster.

Yes, two different pools will work in this situation. I just try to understand how IP POOL make choice , after all, it can  contain more than one subnet :smileylaugh:
