End of General Support for VMware Workspace ONE Personal Content

Hi,


VMWare has recently announced the end of general support for Personal content. As per below statement in article, New customer will no longer have access to personal content feature. So how will this be impacted in my case as I use on-premises solution and not planning to update my UEM version (1810). So, I think user can still use the personal content option in the UEM console and self service portal. However, I am assuming that personal content option will be removed from the App for new user. Am I assuming correctly? Please provide more clarity on this statement


 


' As part of our content modernization strategy, VMware Workspace ONE is announcing end of support for the Personal Content portion of the Workspace ONE Content solution, effective January 3rd , 2020. Between the date of making this announcement (January 3rd , 2019) and the end of life date (January 3rd 2020), VMware Workspace ONE will continue to support all Personal Content functionality. Bugs with critical priority will be addressed, however new functionality and low priority bugs will not be implemented. Additionally, new customers will no longer have access to Personal Content functionality by the end of June 2019.'

Hi,

did you ever get an answer to this? What will happen to the existing personal Content? Will it be removed when running the first update in 2020?  Or will existing users remain access to their files?
