SRM 8,2 for Data center to Data center DR failover

Hi Folks,

Using SRM 8.2 for data center to data center DR failover: What is the best alternative to VxLAN (Stretched vLAN)?

Info: Data centers are separated by 100's of miles with redundant high speed (10G)circuits

Info: VMs are accessed by internal users only.

Info: Application requires IP addresses to be the same after fail over.Opt: Is a disjoint layer 2 network (Cisco) a viable option?

Opt: Is there a Dynamic DNS solution?

Hi,

Stretched VLAN is an option but remember about default gateway for your network. Where will be gateway when your primary DC will fail, do you have possibilities to switch GW to the second location with your VMS?Do you use Dynamic routing protocols? Take into account all of that while creating a recovery plan.
