By 'not showing the installed plug-in details' do you mean that root tree nodes in Administration > Inventory tree view show only corresponding plug-in name but not other info like plug-in version and plug-in build number (which is shown in ControlCenter)?

I think that's the expected behavior in current vRO release. You are not hitting some issue, it is just not implemented, so restarting vRA/vRO won't help.

The important information that is expected to be displayed in the client inventory are properties of the plug-in entities (the children nodes of the plug-in root nodes), for example hosts/operations under HTTP-REST plug-in.

Thanks iiliev for the response.

We are not able to see plugin itself in Inventory tree view(even plugin name is not visible).

I think this could happen if a) the plug-in is marked as disabled, or b) if the plug-in version/build number are not valid integer numbers, or c) your plug-in does not define inventory.

For case a) - check the Manage Plug-ins page in Control Center (column labelled 'Enable plug-in'.

For cases b) and c) - check plug-in's vso.xml file.

Plugin is enabled in control center and plugin version is 20.0.0.20200211142526861

Same plugin we installed in vRA 8.0.0 it shows up in inventory but when we install it in 8.0.1 its not showing in inventory.

Any other possible reasons which can lead to this issue?
