Concerning USB external storage devices really no chance to build in Fusion an environment virtualized to 100%? I mean regarding USB virtualization provided by Fusion seems to reach merely to USB controller + hubs. However there is a need to work with vmdk-files attached to guest's virtual USB controller. Several software apps write to USB device. It's unsmart to use pieces of hardware as soon as deep in virtual network.
