I have searched on Internet for a very long time and I still not very sure that the Websocket protocol (which connections is defined with ws:// or wss://) is supported by Airwatch. May someone tried about this? And what should I aware if I keep using websocket protocol under tunneling?
Hello,
even this thread is a year old, I'd like to warm it up:
We have to tunnel an internal browser-based application and it uses web sockets.
We currently use legacy per-app tunnel and want to migrate completely to UAG.
Would this work with VMware WEB Browser ...
- ... in common reverse proxy mode?
- ... in perapp tunneling mode (to tunnel VMware WEB or Chrome)?
Are there any improvements in VMware regarding websockets in general?
Thank you,
kind regards
Roland
Good afternoon. Please tell me, has the situation with websockets support by the Web browser using a proxy or tunnel (on UAG) changed in any way?
Hi Mikhail, yes this should be fine - https://techzone.vmware.com/deploying-vmware-workspace-one-tunnel-workspace-one-operational-tutorial.... Workspace ONE Tunnel (UAG) does support websocket proxy as some Horizon traffic is proxied this way I believe.
Dear Phil,
Thanks for the answer. I generally do the same. Except for publishing an application. I'll show it as a public Web application. At the moment, the version of the public Web application is 23.02 (build 1365). Can the way of publication affect the work?
