Hello,
I was trying to see, how simplified UI in Workstation Player 14 looks like.
According to knowledge base, it should hide preferences settings of Virtual Machines.
I have edited config.ini on several places:
C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware Player\config.ini
C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\VMware\config.ini
C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware Workstation\config.ini
with value
installerDefaults.simplifiedUI = "yes"
But actually I do not see any changes when starting Player again.
Does someone has experience with this simplified GUI?
