locking not supported launcher

Hi,

I enrolled a tablet samsung android 8.1.0 version company work profile. I created a launcher profile to assign it. I can see the profile arrived on the tablet but I have the following message: lock not supported

For information via android legacy no problem

Version: Platform 19.12.0.3 (1912)
Launcher 4.5.0

Sounds like even though the enrollment was fine, the tablet itself does not fully support Android Enterprise and thus rendered the error.

If I understand correctly, it is only these devices that can apply the launcher mode in Android Enterprise for the rest you have to use Android Legacy?

If the device is on the recommended list, then all Android Enterprise functions should work as they have been validated. Otherwise, there's no guarantee but the device can still enroll as Android Enterprise. Hope this helps.
