Which version of ESXi to load?

Hello!

I am building out a 5 node vSan cluster from scratch.  The vendor sold us licenses for vSphere6  Enterprise Plus and vSan 6.2 Advanced.  When I go to downloads for each there are two difference hypervisor downloads that i see...

VMware vSphere 6.7 (vSAN included) -which is only 314.66mb

VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi ISO) image (Includes VMware Tools)

or should i install

VMware vSphere Hypervisor (ESXi) 6.7U3b - which is 335.05mb (Found under enterprise plus downloads)

Does the vSphere Hypervisor Enterprise Plus download already contain the vSan portion?

I want to make sure i install the correct hypervisor, if anyone could help point me in the correct direction I would be very greatful.

Thanks!

Hello xxDecrYpteDxx

Welcome to Communities.

All ESXi 6.7 installations contain vSAN - this is not a separate downloadable install as the vSAN modules are embedded in the ESXi kernel.

Thus, use the latest 6.7 version available.

Happy to help.

If you have more questions once you get your cluster going, please do ask here.

Or if it is something more in-depth/time-sensitive/critical please do contact vSAN team at VMware GSS.
