Confused around the vRealize Operations Manager collector and if it is meant to be working

Hi guys, our collectors are reporting in a Partially Healthy state as the vRealize Operations Manager collector is having Communication issues.

From reading the notes it appears the vRealize Operations Manager agent is not supported yet so unsure if I have a problem or not, if someone could help here and confirm if this should be green and if so where should I go looking to resolve the issue.

Hello johnw230873

vRealize Operations Manager versions 6.6, 6.7 and 7.0 are supported by Skyline Collector version 2.2.

The status of the Collector on the Skyline Advisor is not current, there is a delay. Please check on the Collector admin page from your local network:

  • Log on to Skyline Collector admin page( https://<Collector VM IP>
  • Fo to the Status tab and select the vRealize Operations Manager

You should be able to see the current status.

If you see any error, edit the endpoint and update the credential, if the issue persists, share the error as per Collector admin page.

Thanks Aditya, I logged into the onsite collector and it came me more information about the issue and it was a certificate issue. In the end in the collector under configuration I removed the collector for Operations Manager and recreated it, it worked fine after this. The only think I can think is that I might have upgraded vops which could have upset the thumb print.
