Hi!
From about one week I can't access too to an Esxi 6.5 server via web browser.
The server works well in the network (all VMs are working regularly) but I can't access it by means username (root) and password.
I'm reasonably shure that I put the correct password ( the same I've used many times in the past).
Any idea?
Thanks in advance
Can you access via SSH?
Changing a forgotten root password on an ESX/ESXi host
You must follow the following KB to change the password if you forget
You can follow below two steps as well to change the root password and try to login .
1.If you have integrated host with active directory, login using AD user via ssh and then change root password.
2.If host is already managed by vcenter then you can extract the host profile from host and edit the profile to change the setting of password to "fixed password configuration" and enter new password.
then apply the host profile to the host , this will change the root password.

Sagar
Ok.
Thanks to all.
I'll try in the next days
