vRops Rightsizing - "Oversized VMs"

Hi Everyone,

When I go to Rightsizing and select "Oversized VMs" , there is no option to export the list. Does someone know of a way to export the list of oversized VMs and recommendations to an excel doc, CSV, PDF, etc?

Thanks,

I dont have vROPS in front of me right now but in pretty sure ive been able to export this report previously. If you select an object in the enviroment icon are you not seeing anything listed under Reports -> Generated reports?

Which version of vROps are you using? Since vROps 8.0 you have the option "Export All". It will export all the selected VMs to a CSV file.

You can use the report "Optimization Report: Oversized Virtual Machines" to discover oversized virtual machines. The drawback is that it will display all the oversized VMs. If you want to be able to have a selection of oversized VMs you have to create a custom view based on cluster or datacenter for example.
