Poor performance on linux host, how to increase priority?

I have VMWare Workstation Pro 15.5.1 build-15018445 running on linux Ubuntu host.

I run Windows 7 x64 as a guest system.

My PC is quite powerful - 2x Xeon 32 core CPUs, 64 GB RAM

But virtual windows is running very slow.

Is there a was to increase virtual machine priority? Or set affinity to specific cores only?

VM specification? Storage type?

2x CPU with 2 threads

8 GB RAM

I'm using real windows partition (raw disk) - not an disk image.
