Hi all,
We are using vRops 7.5 and I received a request to find all VM's within our environment with disks larger than 7 TB. I have tried to figure this out, but I'm only able to find disks C: and 😧 larger than a specific size in Guest File System| C:\Partition Capacity. I have used Instance Break down but I'm not able to find a solution to view this from all other disks than C: and D:.
Any ideas would be highly appreciated
Is it even possible ???
rgds,
Kim
I guess you can do this in the metric explorer, change the object type to virtual machine and select one of your VMs that contains the most or all disks/drive(letters) by using icon
I am not sure but you need to add all those disks/drive letter(s), also add them on the filter pane of a view. In the filter you can set the filter for each disk/driveletter(s) to > 7 TB.
Check if the results are expected with the preview option.

Hi Rick,
I have been able to create the Symptom Definitions for the extra disk using the approach you mentioned. I'm not able to create the view because I'm not able to select the symptom definitions anywhere.
Do you have any ideas how to do that ??
Thanks in advance.
Kim
I managed to get this working by fiddling around 🙂
Thanks for your input Rick.
