VMWare Fusion 11.5 is completely unstable and crashes constantly. Windows 10 guest. No rhyme or reason to it, happens whenever. Completely reinstalled VMWare tools, no change.
macOS 10.14.6.
Was not like this at all to previous version. Support collection window has been sitting at 100% progress bar for 10 minutes.
This release is garbage. What's up VMWare?
First report of crashing I think we've seen, but need more details to try and help.
What's the guest and host configuration?
Hi,
If support log collection is already taking 10 minutes and longer then that support bundle is probably going to end up hundreds of MB's anyways.
Too large to attach here.
How about you attach a vmware.log from the offending VM?
In order to to do so, go to VMware Fusion Library -> right click -> Show in Finder -> right click on the VM bundle -> Show Package Contents
Now in the folder that is open locate the vmware.log file and attach it to a reply in this thread via the attach button/link at the bottom right of your browser reply text window.
edit: As we need to see a log file with a crash in it, it wouldn't hurt to attach the other vmware-0.log, vmware-1.log etc.. files as well.
