VMWare Worstation Pro 15 disappeared from the screen

    ChristopherHarper Lurker

Running VMWare Workstation Pro 15 inside a Windows 10 computer.  Was running since 12/7/19.  Today while running, VMWare disappeared from the screen.  I could get it back by going to the Start Menu of Windows 10 and starting WM Workstation Pro again and the existing VMWare was still running in a tab and I could tab back into it.  It happened about the time of  14:45.

Here is an insert of the vmware.log file from the vmware instance directory:

Also, I tried to attach a USB Stick to get a copy of this file, and I got a error popup:  "WMWare Workstation" with the error in the box saying "Unknown error"  I had to shut down the VMware and then I could use the USB stick.

Any insight was to why the Workstation Pro just disappeared would be extremely helpful.

      Thanks,

If UI disappeared but guest still alive, seemingly like UI crash or run into something. Will you please upload the VMware ui log for analysis? Thanks
