VMware Horizon Client 4.9

Hi,

Just wondering,  is it possible to provide a reset/restart option for users with floating/dedicated desktops who are unable to connect to the connection server or who are unable to connect to the view

desktop?

Hi,

This option is configured by administrator, which users can restart/reset their own VDI VM.

How do I resolve "logging off a previous session" errors in the Virtual Desktop Environment? - Find ...

I just googled 10 secs and find this website.

you can configure in Horizon admin - Pool setting.

it can support horizon client 4.4 and later.

So version 4.9 also works.

Thank you for this information. However, based on the KB article, I believe it is something that can be done only by the administrator. Please correct me if I'm wrong.  What we actually wanted to know if it's possible to give users who are on a floating assignment desktops,  the ability to restart their own remote desktops in case they encounter issues connecting to their view desktops but have been able to successfully connect to the connection server.. looking to see if that option is available. Sometimes, users are unable to login to their desktops because of some errors and we are looking to see if it possible for them to reset/restart their own VMs . This will help deflect and or reduce calls to the helpdesk if that option is available Tried to research on this however I have not been able to see some answers if it's indeed possible.
