Network Adaptor are not working for a particular VM Machine?

The issue is that I have created a server machine on a particular VM Machine and suddenly the network adaptor is not working for that VM Machine, while the network adaptor is working for the other VM Machine. When I checked the network adaptor setting in the control panel no network adaptor is showing and I tried to uninstall the drivers from for the network but it didn't work.

Please help to resolve this issue as of now no internet is working on that VM Machine and I have to do this urgent, please help.

Welcome to the Community,

please provide some details.

Which VMware product, and version do you use?

How is the network adapter configured in the VM's settings?

Please attach the VM's configuration (.vmx) file, as well as the VM's vmware.log file to your next reply.

Hi Andre,

Sorry, I forget to add those details. I have downloaded Windows Server R2 2008 x64.

VM Ware version is =15.0.0

Network adaptor was configured as NAT and it was working fine in another VM machine I checked and it works well.

I have attached the vmx file and the log file with this comment please check.

According to the log file it's VMware Workstation 12, and the network is "Bridged".

Anyway, please do a clean shut down from within the guest OS, i.e. don't suspend the VM. Then power it back on, and check whether the network adapter shows up in the guste's Device Manager, and the Network environment.

Since it's an "E1000" virtual NIC that's configured, it should be detected by Windows even without VMware Tools being installed.

Yeah VM version is 12.0.0

Actually I have tried by setting NAT and bridged, now with setting NAT I have reuploaded the log file please check the attachment.

I have done the same as advised by you checked the network adaptor is shown in the machine.

I just want to make one thing clear that the network adaptor is showing my machine and working fine. I have attached the screenshot of the device manager and network adaptor from the VM Machine.

Thanks,

Akshay

It's unusual that it shows so many devices with exclamation marks. Can you try finding/updating the drivers for these devices?

Which 20018R2 Service Pack is installed?

When I tried to update the driver software it is showing me this error as I have attached the screenshot.

What do you mean by finding can you please confirm? Did you mean placing the driver externally then installing?
