Two network interfaces in HOST computer, how to make them both available in virtual machine inside ?

I run Workstation Pro on MS W10 - host.

I virtualize MS W7 (VM).

W10 computer (HOST) has two ethernet (network) interfaces.

How can I get both of them available inside the VM ?

thanks Jan

The network adapter in the virtual machine are emulated by Workstation and are not the passthrough of physical host's adapters. If you want two network adapters available for VM, you can just add another network adapter in the VM Setting page. And note again that these network adapters are not same with host adapters.

Welcome to the Community,

assuming that you are talking about bridged networking, you may simply create another Bridged "vmnet" using the "Virtual Network Editor", which you then assign to an additional virtual network adapter in the VM's settings.

Please note that to do this you need to specify a dedicated physical network adapter in each of the bridged "vmnet" settings, i.e. also change vmnet0 from "Bridged to: Automatic" to the desirecd physical NIC.
