NSX-T as Edge

Hello,

Is it possible to use NSX-T Edge Bare Metal server as edge routers running BGP for our network, without using physical router to run BGP ?

Baremetal edges gives better throughput and lower convergence and there are licensing benefits as well. However it doesn't replace the functionality of core router.
