I have the latest workstation pro windows 10 x64 and latest linux mint on it, the problem is when guest is starting I have in message log "The default sound device cannot be opened.
A device ID has been used that is out of range for your system.
Sound will be disconnected."
But I can enable sound by going to Vmware Workstation setting then Guest Sound settings and I here can check "Connected" after this I have sound from Linux but this is working until first restart or shut down, after that the situation is the same and I need in setting connect sound card - this is annoying.
Is any way to fix this issue? I have read about some recommendations to edit .vxdm file but mine looks ok"
