VMware Workstation 14 Player Device/Credential Guard not compatible

Installed VMware Player 14.0.0 on Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB. I've followed the recommended details. Check Group policy, Services and BIOS settings, but cannot seem to get passed VMware Player and Device/Credential Guard are not compatible error. Any Suggestions? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. This is not an upgrade from v12. I have installed to another computer and its working fine on that device.

Try the latest build, 14.1.0?

Tried installing version 14.1.0 but that did not resolve the issue. Any other settings besides Group Policy that will cause Device/Credential Guard?

I think you can follow microsoft suggestions to disable Device/Credential Guard

I found a solution in this thread -  Device/Credential Guard error on Windows 10 Home

What finally worked was - "Going into Defender(Windows Security)->App and Browser Control->Program Settings->add vmware.exe and then 'override' all of the options listed but set all of them to 'off' "
