Clone a VM by changing the file names

When I create a VM all the configuration files have the name of the VM.

When cloning this VM, a VM with a new name is created, but the original names are kept.

Is there a way to immediately create files with the correct name instead of being forced to rename them afterwards?

When you clone (Clone to Virtual Machine option) VM and you need to set name of second VM:

At the end you should have two VMs. First original with original names. Second vm files should have names with new vm name.

True, but all disk related files remain those of the "master" VM.

Is it possible that there is no way to have ALL the files with the new name?
