VCSA 6.7 SNMP Trap to localhost

Hi,

why is in the default configuration as primary trap reciever localhost defined?

Many of the default VCSA alarms have "SendSNMP" defined - can I disable sending snmp traps for them, when I do not need this info in my external trap reciever or is that needed for internal alerting (in the VCSA GUI) too?

I believe the enabling the snmp traps would be required for VCSA alerting. For more information, please refer: VMware Knowledge Base

But I cant find anything regarding the need or usage of SNMP traps to localhost in that document you provided.
