Dell R310 to 6.0.x

Hi, has anyone successfully upgraded a Dell PE R310 to ESXi 6.0?

I checked and its not on the VMware "official' HCL listing.

is this because of the processor that it's not on the HCL for 6.0.x?

If it is not listed in the HCL, then it is not officially supported by VMware. Moving to a supported hardware makes sense altogether to ensure stability of the system, avoid running into bugs or get support for any critical issues.
