Issues with ESXi

I have 5 windows-10 VMs running on a ESXi node. On each VM is a application call Hiperwall Sender. This is a content management system and on the admin GUI I'm getting an error every 20 minutes that the applications are disconnecting. It re-connects almost instantly, but I'm wondering whats generating this error. I've run this application on workstation pro with no issues and on a physical PC with no issues. I only experience this issue when running the app on a ESXi node. Is there some sort of background process that may be causing this?

There is just too much vague information here to try and identify a cause. While I don't know this application or what precisely it does, I would say the fact it is running on ESXi *probably* has nothing to do with this issue. It's more than likely coincidental.

The application doesn't matter. What I want to know is, does the ESXi have any kind of background processes that run on a 20-mintue interval or at any regular interval?

That information alone would help a lot. I'm curious if there might be some sort of keep alive function to refresh connections at a defined interval.

Nothing at a network level of which I'm aware.

The jobs that vsphere runs don't do enough to cause any impact to any workloads, you either have a problem in the app, or if you have external storage you "may" have issues there.
