add host from failed VCSA to brand new VCSA without shutdown or VMotion VMs?

hi dear friends

my vcha failed and after alot of afford to restore it i decided to deploy completely new VCSA and add host to it.every thing was right until i need to add host to new VCSA .it said you must shutdown power on  vms?i have a software that need a lot of config to rerun.

is there a way to add host with power on or suspended vm to new vcsa?

if suspended vm are allowed does they keep their state after adding to new vcenter(running state, hardware lock)?

host :  6.7 u3

vcsa : 6.7 u3 embedded

Did you try to add the ESXi host directly to a cluster?! Normally you can add a host with power-on VMs to the vCenter until you want to add it to a cluster with specific settings (for example EVC is enabled and the host is not compatible)

Hello Deary, you've basically asked this question here. You can add a host with powered-on VMs to a new vCSA and new cluster.
