virtual machine port ID and port-groups

Hi everybody,

Let say we have a VM which is connected to vSW1 on ESXI,  using port-groups VM-1,  VM-2

Does vSW still assign single Virtual machine port ID to VM or it will assign two virtual machine ports IDS to VM because it is connected to vSW using two port-groups VM-1, VM-2?

VM has two vNICs so two port IDs.
