I have a 64gb micro sd which I would like to use on my VM. I have the VMWare Workstation 10.0.7 cause it run on 32 bit system. On the web I read a way to do it, adding a new physical HD ide to the VM, but that creates some problems for my VM, so I discarded it. My question is, if I use one of those micro usb adapters for micro sd flah drive, could the VM recognize the micro sd as a usb device or anyway recognize it somehow or other?
