Traffic flow from hardware VTEP to software VTEP.

Hi team,

I want to understand how traffic flows if we use hardware VTEP on the physical switch.

topology is like below

physical switch----ESG-----DLR----logical switch.

If a VM which is connected to logical switch wants to communicate with the machine behind the hardware VTEP, will ESG comes in between or not?

or

it will bypass the ESG ?

It depends upon the way you design it. Add L2 Bridge to a Logically Routed Environment . Also note that, with hardware vtep, you can't have DLR as the gateway for your virtual machines.
