i would like to set the Time Zone for ESXI 5.5 to be UTX+2 instead of UTC, But couldnot.

I have followed th Steps through CLI, but while i write cd /usr/share/zoneinfo/ , this error appears        -sh: cd: can't cd to /usr/share/zoneinfo/, any suggestion please.

I'm not aware of a supported option to modify the timezone.

ESXi is based on UTC, and the vSphere Client will display the time based on the time zone that's configured on the system on which the client runs.

First of all, you cant change the timezone of ESXi and it comes with UTC.

the folder which you are looking for /usr/share/zoneinfo/ is not available in ESXi to modify.

You can change the date/time settings at VM level if this is creating any impact.

It's not possible to modify ESXi timezone (based on design it's on UTC) and vSphere client just show the its client system time.
