ESX boot paritions low on space after 6.7 Upgrade

Hi,

I tried the 6.5 to 6.7 U2 upgrade using ESX image and update manager.  successfully work ok with disk space alerts for low disk space.  These were alerting on the two 250GB I believe to be the boot blank partitions.

So rebuilt the ESX host fresh and still getting the same errors.

df -h command output attached.

Its not 250GB its 250MB

Its almost same for most of the ESXi hosts.. It saves the store partition info

Thanks for your reply.

With 190MB used out of 250MB.is this normal?  If so I'll amend the SNMP alert threshold.

I'm using the cuustomised HPE image.

First of all, why do you choose this low disk space for your ESXi installation?

Couldn't you assign more than this?

The two partitions of size 250MB is for bootbank and altbootbank which stores the esxi boot/config information. They wont grow much so the used space of 190 MB is still fine. If you have any doubt , just watch out the space usage for a week or two and see if you notice any major difference and decide accordingly.

Also support gave me this fix but doing this in an enterprise will not be feasible.
