Hola JUANGIL731

The issue occurred as the skyline not able to resolve the vCenter and psc names.

Error : "java.net.UnknownHostException: xxxPSC-Namexxx: Name or service not known"

We were able to fix the issue after updating the DNS entry in Skyline appliance.

Steps to perform:

  1. Login to Skyline appliance via root user account
  2. type "/opt/vmware/share/vami/vami_config_net"
  3. Change the ip address as its wizard-based.

Hello JUANGIL731,

Welcome to Skyline Communities!

Skyline has a requirement to user FQDN while adding the vCenter. Please use FQDN instead of IP address.

If in case if you have external PSC you need to enable SSO config and enter the PSC details as per the below text.

PSC/SSO Host address: Enter PSC IP/FQDN

SSO Admin URL: https://FQDNofPSC:7444/sso-adminserver/sdk/vsphere.local

SSO STS URL: https://FQDNofPSC:7444/sts/STSService/vsphere.local

Lookup Service URL: https://FQDNofPSC:7444/lookupservice/sdk/vsphere.local

Hola JUANGIL731

Utilice el nombre completo de vCenter y PSC, en lugar de la dirección IP.
