Can you directly access NSX Manager web interface? That's where you need to check its connection with vCenter. Have you tried reloading the NSX Manager VM?

Good, can you connect to nsx manager from the UI, not from vcenter, and check it the nsx manager still registered with vcenter, and the services are UP?

i suggest to re-registed the NSX manager another time, but 1st check if the extension is registered in MOB, using this link http:\\YourvCenterName\mob

com.vmware.vShieldManager is the extension name for NSX, if you aggree for re-regesite the NSX i can send you the steps.

Did I understand correctly, that to remove NSX components manually is bad idea and better is to restore installed version and then upgrade it to current?

I don't know where you got that from.

Your NSX Manager seems to be working, as all the services are up. Just seems that integration with vCenter was lost. The way to go here is re-register it. Have you done this? Re-configure both vCenter and lookup service in the NSX manager GUI.

You really need to get the backups working and at least do a dump of your configuration.

Please check date/ time synchronization between NSX manager & vCenter whereas I faced the same issue and the solution was to make the date/time between them identical.
