I had about 30 VM's on a vSphere 6.0 stack. I brought them over with vSphere Replication to a vSphere 6.7 stack and everything went fine (well except for the fact all the Linux boxes network adapter went from eto0 to a new network card). Now my current issues with many of the VM's brought over are the appear to lose the Connected checkbox the Connected at startup box. Why would this be the case? I have never had VM's do this to me before.
I don't fully understand the problem, but do you say that the virtual machine is powered off / power on after the connected option is disabled on the network card? If this is the case, the connect at power on option may not be selected on the virtual machine's network card.
If you have a different problem, please give me some details.
Connected at Power Up keeps getting unchecked. it's mostly on Linux boxes. I am unsure if it is when they get restarted or not. It seemed to happen a lot after I brought them live from Replication.
Are the connect at power on options of the virtual machines in the protected site checked? If the Connect at power on option is not selected, the virtual machine will not connect to the network during power on.
Yes they have checked in fact they have been checked many times ... the question being why do they become unchecked? What causes that and how can I stop it?
