My Update Manager server is not internet facing. I downloaded VMware-vCenter-Server-Appliance-6.7.0.40000-14367737-updaterepo.zip. I believe this is the latest and greatest of patches and updates need for vSphere 6.7 please let me know if it is not and where I should pick the correct one at. I have turned off it to be able to download from https://hostupdate.mware.com yet it still shows trying to download at (Oct 21 2918) even though I have disabled this feature under patch setup. Instead, I uploaded it last night around 5:00.
Am I doing Offline Updates wrong all together?
Need more details:
vCenter server version: ??
ESXi version: ??
What is the ask?? Do you want to upgrade ESXi hosts or update vCSA?
ESXi 6.7.0 Build 8159922
vSphere 6.7.0 Build 10244857
I want to ensure I can update EVERYTHING. I work in scan heavy environment for Security. I need to update every single vSphere item on a whim because of that. Right now I just got popped on VMWARE tools.
First you will have to patch VCSA to the latest build using FP iso:
https://www.vladan.fr/how-to-patch-vmware-vcenter-server-appliance-vcsa-6-7-offline/
To update ESXi host download the iso from <Download VMware vSphere > and refer the below link:
