Hello,
I want to install vCenter 6.7 on Windows Server 2016. My Windows Server IP address is "192.168.1.2" and in below picture, I entered this IP address in "ESXi host or vCenter Server name", but I got an error:
I opened port 443 and 9123 too, but problem exist.
How can I solve it?
Thank you.
Don't install vCenter on Windows, it's being deprecated after 6.7. Deploy the vCenter Appliance instead, it's easier to manage and includes VUM already built in as an example.
R in installing VCSA on ESXi or workstation ? What 's the IP subnet of ESXi and the Win10 box.

Hi AJ,
I'm trying to install VCSA on windows 10 box which is also as ESXi host. I've also read that to install VCSA it required minimum Windows server 2008 SP2. Let me go through the link and if it does not work then i will try to install Windows 2008 SP2 as VM and then install the VCSA.
Thank you for your kind assistance.
Will keep you posted on the progress.
Regards
Teck
