Vsphere Web Client Certificate Chrome Mixed Mode warnings

Good Day everyone,

Having a Certificate issue with the Web Client and Chrome Version 72.0.3626.121.

We are on:

vCenter Server 6.0 Update 3d

ClientIntegrationPlugin-6.0.0-6823256.exe

Mixed ESXi 5.1 - 5.5

I have downloaded all the correct Root CA certs from the Host and imported them.

The Main VCenter Portal page reports a Valid Cert and the Lock Icon.  However, after clicking on the "Log in to vSphere Web Client" link and loading the page, Chrome goes from "Connection Secure" to "Your connection to this site is not fully secure"

The Certificate is still Valid.

Edge, IE, are fine and remain Connection secure.

Chrome reports a Mixed mode issue coming from:

vsphere-client/?csp' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure resource 'vmware-csd://csd?sessionId=hdng-7V06-oeTL-lopf&appName=ui'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

Is this a bug? Any work arounds?

I thought this was fixed in Update 3C?

Any Ideas would be much apprecitaed as this have been frustrating to figure out.

Thanks!

Hello,

i have the same question.

We have changed the self-signed certificates with certificates from a microsoft enterprise CA, but chrome shows the same certifcate warnings.

vCenter Server with an embedded Platform Services Controller 6.7.0.40000

ESXi, 6.7.0, 13006603

Chrome shows the vcsa website https://vcsa.domain.tdl/ui completly secure when the ClientIntegrationPlugin 6.7.0.4882 is not installed on the admin pc.

The Warnings starts with installation of the ClientIntegrationPlugin.

IE and Firefox shows no certificate warnings.

Best regards,

Chris
