Cannot add vcenter server in Skyline

Hello to all

I'm trying to setup a Skyline collector. At the step where I must add a vcenter server, after i fill all necessary info (vceneter address etc.), when I click ADD I get the following error

Couldn't create collection task to test endpoint. -> java.lang.RuntimeException: Couldn't login the client. -> Couldn't login the client. -> General failure. -> Internal server error

ADD

I googled around and I found some workarounds (like rebooting Collector appliance etc.) but nothing worked for me.

Any Ideas?

Did you already try a different browser? What java version are you running?

Welcome to Skyline Community!

The error you recived occurs if the Skyline collector is not able to connect with SSO, it could be due to custom SSO configuration. It could be either an external PSC or an custom domain(other than vsphere.local).

Enable Custom SSO configuration on the wizard, the following documentation should help you with filling in the details:

After your help from , I was able to login and start the collector.

Everything looks running now

However, in Skyline Advisor page the collector appears as inactive and In don;t get any information, even regarding inventory

Should I perform any additional actions?

No additional steps are required. Usually, it takes up to 48 hours before we can see the proactive findings and recommendations.
